Nirmala Sitharaman earned a Bachelorette of trades degree in economics from Seethalakshmi Ramaswami College in Tiruchirapalli in 1980, a Master of trades degree in economics and anM.Phil. from Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi in 1984, and also enrolled in a PhD programme in Economics with a focus on Indo- European trade from Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi in 1985. She latterly dropped out of the programme and dislocated to London, noway finishing her degree. 

In 2006, Sitharaman joined the BJP. In 2010, she was named as the party’s spokesperson. She was appointed as a inferior minister in Narendra Modi’s government in 2014. She was tagged to the Rajya Sabha in June 2014. She was one of the 12 campaigners nominated by the BJP to run for the Rajya Sabha choices in May 2016, and she won her seat in Karnataka.

 Sir Ramasamy Kandasamy Shanmukham Chetty was the foremost Finance Minister of India.R.K. Shanmukham Chetty was an Indian counsel, economist, and politician who was the country’s first finance minister after independence. He was in the army from 1947 until 1948. 

Shanmukham Chetty was born in Coimbatore in 1892, and after completing his training at Madras Christian College and Madras Law College, he entered politics. He was a member of both the Indian nationalist Swaraj Party and the judge Party in India. Shanmukham Chetty was tagged to the Indian Parliament’s Central Legislative Assembly. From 1931 to 1935, he was indeed its Deputy President. Chetty returned to South India after losing the 1935 choices. From 1935 to 1941, he was the Diwan of the Cochin kingdom . Chetty was a major supporter of the Tamil Isai Movement during his public life and combined with a number of social enterprises. 

Chetty came India’s Finance Minister after the country’s independence in 1947. When India’s first budget was submit  in Parliament on November 26, 1947, Shanmukham Chetty was the Finance Minister.
